Yodfat Snir Mandil was born in Tel Aviv Israel and received a BA in Archeology and the History of Israel from Tel Aviv university. She also has masters in Political Science from Tel Aviv University as well as a degree from Technion.

For a number of years, Yodfat worked as a professional archeologist at Tel Aviv University and the Israel Antiquities Department.

Yodfat moved with her husband Eldar to Canada in 2005, They have two children – Yallie and Arielle.

Yodfat has 15 years of experience in teaching children and adults. Her passions are education, history of the Jewish people, music and the creative arts, all talents she bring to Habonim every week.

Yodaft also teaches Grades 1 & 2 at the Associated Hebrew School, Posluns Branch.
